The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra is reportedly the successor to the Galaxy Z Fold7 from last year, and it’s expected to be unveiled on July 22 in London alongside the Galaxy Z Fold8, Galaxy Z Flip8, Galaxy Watch9, and Galaxy Watch Ultra 2.
Today a new rumor from Ice Universe suggests the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra will come with a bump in screen resolution compared to the Galaxy Z Fold7. Unfortunately, he doesn’t mention what the resolution will actually be, just that it’s “significantly enhanced”. He also doesn’t say which screen will benefit.
For reference, the Galaxy Z Fold7 has 1968×2184 resolution on the main folding screen and 1080×2520 resolution on the cover screen. According to previous rumors, the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra will have a minimal crease, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset at the helm, and a 5,000 mAh battery. It will allegedly be available in Cream, Graphite, Green Shadow, and Violet Shadow colors with 256GB/512GB/1TB of storage.
