Announcing a Lean Educators Conference. Teaching Lean in the Age of AI.
November 18-19th at K&S Ranch, California.
When AI hit our spring Lean Launchpad for Deep Tech class, our teaching team was unprepared for the impact it made on the class.
What I didn’t realize was that other Lean educators (Hacking for Defense, NSF and NIH I-Corps, et al) were seeing the same problems, and all of us were grappling with how to solve them. If students can build in hours what once took weeks, the way we teach them has to change too.
After spending the summer thinking about the problem and what needed to change, I wrote a series of blog posts describing what we saw and what we were going to do about it.
Part 1: The Year AI Came For Us
Part 2: AI Killed the MVP – Long Live the IUP
Part 3: The World Outside the Classroom Changed, The Class Didn’t
Part 4: Lean LaunchPad – The Next Generation
I was surprised by the feedback from educators who wanted to get together and discuss what’s next.
Therefore this Lean Educators’ Conference.
Join us as we share the new syllabi we drafted for our revised Lean Launchpad and Hacking for Defense classes, and participants leave with a model they can teach, run, test, and continue improving. Come and share your suggestions and tools.
Collectively we can get smarter.
