Walt Disney World has released a new Summer 2026 resort special offer for Disney+ subscribers with deeply-discounted rooms for as low as $99 per night. This post shares the details of these special offers, commentary about why there’s such a shortage of savings, plus sample pricing, analysis & other info.
This is one of many deals that Walt Disney World has released for 2026 vacations, with special offers for Annual Passholders, Floridians, and more. For every other special offer that’s currently available, see All Current Walt Disney World Discounts for 2026.
The current big resort discounts for this same time frame are Stay Longer & Save Up to 30% Off WDW Rooms and 2026 Free Dining at Walt Disney World. This Disney+ subscriber room discount will almost certainly be better for most Walt Disney World guests than Free Dining.
While the siren song of free food is certainly alluring, there’s no such thing as a free lunch–that special offer has some catches that might actually make this D+ discount paired with the 4-Park Magic Discount Walt Disney World Ticket or Summer After 2 PM WDW Ticket Deal a better option!
Here are the official details for the new Summer 2026 Disney+ deep discount at Walt Disney World:

Walt Disney World is giving families even more reasons to visit this summer, with new limited‑time offers and a lineup of fresh experiences perfect for families with young kids. With the return of a popular Disney+ Perks Member resort offer, guests can enjoy more flexibility, more value, and more to do during the season.
Back by popular demand, Disney+ subscribers enrolled in Disney+ Perks program can enjoy special rates on select Disney Resorts Collection hotels. This deal is a great opportunity for families to stay on site, making it easier to take a midday break before heading back to the parks for even more summer fun.
This offer is bookable beginning Thursday, April 2, 2026 for most travel dates from June 21, 2026 through August 15, 2026. A two-night minimum length of stay is required.

Here are the starting prices for eligible Walt Disney World resorts and room types:
- $99 per night, plus tax: Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort – Standard Room
- $169 per night, plus tax: Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside – Standard Location 5th Sleeper
- $249 per night, plus tax: Disney’s Art of Animation Resort – Cars Family Suite
- $279 per night, plus tax: Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort – Deluxe Studio
- $369 per night, plus tax: Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – Savanna View
Plus, Disney Resorts Collection hotel guests can enjoy free admission to one of the Walt Disney World water parks on their check-in day between May 26 and September 8, 2026, subject to availability. Both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach will be open during this time, so guests can choose which water park is best for their family.

Previous Rates & Dates for Deep-Discounted WDW Rooms
As noted in the announcement, this discount is back by popular demand. For reference, last year’s version of this Disney+ deal was valid on 2-night stays or longer, most nights from June 29 to July 31, 2025. Here are last year’s starting rates:
- $99 Per Night for Standard Rooms at Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort
- $169 Per Night for Woods View Rooms at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside
- $229 Per Night for Cars Family Suites at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort
- $249 Per Night for Deluxe Studios at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort
- $339 Per Night for Savanna View Rooms at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge
Also for reference, earlier this year, a strikingly similar discount was available for Disney Visa cardholders for 2-night or longer stays (must be consecutive nights) most Sunday to Thursday nights from January 4 to February 10, 2026. Here were the starting rates for that defunct discount:
- $99 per night: Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort – Standard Room
- $199 per night: Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort – Village – Standard Location
- $299 per night: Disney’s Art of Animation Resort – Cars Family Suite
- $399 per night: Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge – standard Savanna View
- $429 per night: Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa – 1-Bedroom Villa
- $449 per night: Disney’s BoardWalk Inn – Resort View

In short, prices are up slightly at the higher end versus last summer, but lower than this winter.
The bigger change is the date range. Last year’s deal started later and ended earlier, whereas this one extends into August 2026. That means it’s valid for some of the cheapest and least busy dates of the entire year once school goes back into session. The last week of the deal will almost certainly be the first week of the 2026 Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, too!
Otherwise, it’s interesting to see the same general mix of rooms, albeit with a few twists. I’m somewhat surprised Coronado isn’t available this go-round, and am always disappointed that the Animal Kingdom Lodge – Savanna View isn’t more popular. (It’s bittersweet, because I love to see deals on those rooms, but dislike what that means.)

What to Expect When This Deep Discount Goes Live for Summer 2026
Since this special offer is not yet live, we don’t have full details beyond what Walt Disney World included in the press release (all of which are above). Fortunately, there are a few things we can surmise based on the last two versions of this discount.
First and foremost, it’s likely that this deal will be incredibly popular and book fast. If you want the best availability, I highly recommend being online at midnight* (ideally, a bit beforehand) and booking ASAP.
This isn’t like other recent Walt Disney World special offers that you’re generally fine to book the next day or week. Time will absolutely be of the essence here, as the number of rooms will be limited.

Last year, I couldn’t find a single set of dates that had every resort available with its deepest discount. So you might want to book ASAP if you’re trying to find the most in-demand options. From my searches, Cars Family Suites had the least availability last year.
We highly recommend having a backup plan if your first choice is booked, or being willing to do a split stay. You might also want to consult a travel agent right now and have them make the reservation for you.
*There’s no guarantee that this special offer will go live on the Walt Disney World consumer website at midnight. It’s possible that travel agents will have early access at that time, and it’ll drop on Disneyworld.com at ~5 am on April 2, 2026. It’s also possible that it’ll go live for everyone at 11:34 pm tonight. Expect the unexpected.

To that point, if you want to help determining which discounts are available for your travel dates and which resort will work best for your family, we highly recommend requesting a quote from Be Our Guest Vacations, a no-fee Authorized Disney Vacation Planner. The agents there will do the math for you, booking your vacation with the best-available special offer, and monitoring your package for future discounts that can be applied retroactively.
In particular, they can help you determine whether this room-only discount or the Free Dining is the better deal for you, given your party size, resort preference, and eating preferences. Beyond that, Authorized Disney Vacation Planners help take the stress out of planning and will assist with itineraries, ADRs, and much more.
If you are going to go the travel agent route for this deep Disney+ discount, you need to do so ASAP. Don’t expect to request a quote at midnight or tomorrow and receive an immediate response–you need to get your ducks in a row now. My other advice is to provide them with backup options. As with all Walt Disney World special offers, some resorts, room types and dates won’t be available. Flexibility is the name of the game when it comes to deals like this.

If you want to ‘do it yourself’ but aren’t sure which resort to book, check out our new Rankings of ALL Resort Hotels at Walt Disney World from Worst to Best. A couple of the resorts with the biggest savings are among our favorites!
Then there’s All Star Sports, which does not rank highly on that list, but is one of the resorts where I stay on research trips more than anywhere else. I’ve found it to offer unrivaled bang for buck, and if you want to save money on accommodations to splurge elsewhere (or need the cheapest hotel to afford a trip), you cannot go wrong with All Star Sports. Don’t let the Value Resort haters convince you otherwise; some fans are a bit, ahem, pretentious about hotels.
if your travel dates are flexible and you’re wondering which dates are best, check out our Best & Worst Weeks to Visit Walt Disney World in 2026 & 2027. A couple of our top 10 weeks of the entire year are covered by this promo, and although summer isn’t our favorite time to visit from a qualitative perspective, the low crowds can be glorious.

On a positive note, it’s likely that the Disney+ room deal will be stackable with the Kids Eat FREE All Year in 2026 at Walt Disney World special offer. With this, guests will get a FREE Disney Dining Plan for their kids (ages 3 to 9 at the time of travel) when purchasing a Disney Dining Plan as part of their package for the other members of their party (ages 10 and up at the time of travel). Kids get whatever the adults buy.
This is huge, as traditional Free Dining (for everyone) is NOT stackable with other special offers. This sweetens the deal on every special offer for 2026 for young families, making the DDP pretty much a no-brainer for parents with kids ages 3-9. It’s a fantastic option for doing character meals and other non-Signature table service restaurants (we recommend the standard tier over the quick-service level).
Even though you’ll have to pay to get the Disney Dining Plan for the adults in your party, adding this to your package is going to result in superior savings versus paying out of pocket for food. That should be true even if you do not maximize the Disney Dining Plan.

In general, summer is one of the most consistent times to visit Walt Disney World, price-wise. With the exception of Independence Day, prices are more or less the same across the calendar in June and July 2026. Rates are generally higher, but with fewer spikes than other school breaks.
Friday and Saturday will be the most expensive days of the week, with Sunday through Thursday costing less. So if you’re looking to maximize savings, your best bet is to avoid the weekends. (Even so, the difference isn’t that pronounced–it’s not as bad as other times of the year.)

Turning to analysis of this Disney+ subscriber discount, it is excellent when it comes to the highlighted resorts! In searching for availability with the 40% Annual Passholder rate, which is otherwise the best available discount, here are the cheapest rooms I found for the highlighted resorts:
- $120 Per Night at Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort
- $210 Per Night at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside
- $382 Per Night for Cars Family Suites at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort
- $323 Per Night at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort
- $434 Per Night for Savanna View Rooms at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge
In every single case, the best rate via the Disney+ subscriber discount wins.
Just to reiterate, the AP discount that we’re using as a comparison is really good. If you’re previously booked under the Stay Longer & Save More, FL resident deal, bounceback, or anything else–you might want to rebook under this Disney+ subscriber special offer.

If you’re not a Disney+ subscriber, you still should check out this discount. Unlike Annual Pass discounts, you don’t really need to “crunch the numbers” to determine if you would save more by one member of your party purchasing a Disney+ subscription if you don’t already have one. I can answer that for you right now: you almost certainly will.
The cost of Disney+ for two months is negligible, whereas this could save you several hundreds of dollars. The additional savings will easily exceed the additional cost. That’s especially true given that the highlighted room deals we’re seeing here are more aggressive than AP rates for the same dates.
If you have an issue with your Disney+ account being recognized, try logging into Disneyplus.com first. You should be able to go into your Disney+ account and update the email address associated with that to match your My Disney Experience account. Should is the operative word, as this won’t always work. If it doesn’t, try calling Disney+ customer service at 888-905-7888. Do not call Walt Disney World, as it’s unlikely they’ll be able to help you out.
Another option is logging into Disneyworld.com with your Disney+ account login, booking a room under that, and worrying about account consolidation at a later date. Since this is likely to book fast, we’d recommend doing whatever is necessary to lock-in a reservation ASAP!

These are fantastic deals across the board, but I want to call your attention to are the Cars Family Suites at Disney’s Art of Animation, which has a rack rate of $579 per night; the Savanna View Rooms at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge with a rack rate of $658. That means either of these options are over 50% off for Disney+ subscribers. Those are HUGE discounts…subject to availability, of course!
This were both also part of the Disney+ deal last summer, and had better rates then. So they’re not exactly unprecedented discounts. But outside of that deal, it’s very rare to see a discount like this. Aside from that deal last summer, this are better than anything we’ve seen since early 2021.
During the post-reopening period, there were a few unique discounts (e.g. ‘Southerner Savings’ and PIN codes emailed to most past hotel guests) that were roughly on par with this. It’s not exactly an apples to apples comparison, though. Prior to that, the openings of Gran Destino Tower and Riviera Resort in 2019 generated exceptional deals in an attempt to fill those new resorts.

But during normal times? I cannot find anything this good for as long as we’ve been tracking Walt Disney World discounts. That suggests to me that these are not normal times, and forward guidance on Disney’s next earnings call should be, ahem, interesting!
There are signs of softness on the horizon for the parks, and Walt Disney World is pulling out the ‘2019 discount playbook’ in trying to reverse lagging attendance and hotel occupancy trends. That’s been true for the last couple of years, so nothing really new there.
There are more variables for 2026, though. There’s also the pullback in international travel to the United States, and the “headwinds” that Walt Disney World has reported facing from foreign travelers. Closer to home, there’s also cause for concern: declining consumer confidence, increased economic uncertainty, and fears of a looming recession that give people travel trepidations.
The biggest wildcard is the Iran war and what impact that has on gas prices by the time summer rolls around. The last time gas prices spiked, there was a noticeable slowdown at Walt Disney World. I don’t want to fixate on this too much as it’s a subject we recently covered at length in Why the Iran War Could Cut Crowds at Walt Disney World & Negatively Impact Your 2026 Travel Plans.

Some readers complained about the previous Disney+ deals at Walt Disney World, but we think that’s misguided. From our perspective, this is significant in it’s an affiliation offer with a very low barrier to entry. Subscribing to Disney+ is much cheaper than buying an Annual Pass or moving to Florida. As attractive as the latter option might sound to WDW diehards, it’s definitely not for everyone!
Despite that, many members of the general public simply won’t even consider doing that in order to qualify for these savings. That makes no economic sense–spending $10 to potentially save hundreds of dollars on a hotel is an absolute no-brainer decision–but it’s how deals like this always play out.
Any barrier to entry is too much for many people. That’s bad for those who don’t do their due diligence, but great for those who do–it means less competition. (This is the Walt Disney World vacation planning story, in a nutshell.)

Ultimately, if you’re Disney+ subscriber who is eager for a Summer 2026 vacation at Walt Disney World, these deals are as good as it’s going to get. These were the foundation for last year’s post explaining How to Get the Cheapest Disney World Trip Since 2019, and the prices are identical on the lower end of the spectrum.
The even better news comes via the ticket discounts, which are better this year than last year for anyone with older kids who wants to visit Magic Kingdom. It’s a different story for young families given the lack of a 50% off kids ticket deal, which might still be to come…especially if gas prices continue climbing.
We will be closely monitoring what’s released in terms of future discounts at Walt Disney World, as we suspect there’s still more to come between now and August 2026. Stay tuned, as we will notify subscribers of our free email newsletter when any Walt Disney World discounts are released or rumored!
