The Motorola Edge 50 Neo was officially unveiled at the end of last month and it immediately went on sale in Europe. The phone will roll out to new markets, starting with India – this will happen next Monday, September 16.

Flipkart already has a landing page with all the details for the phone, except for the price. This is a pretty special device, so you may want to tune in next week for the launch.
The Moto Edge 50 Neo is a relatively small phone with a 6.4” display, a high res LTPO 120Hz panel at that, which combines a good quality main camera (50MP, Sony LYT-700) with a telephoto module (10MP 3x), plus a 13MP ultra wide and a 32MP selfie.
It’s a rugged phone (IP68, MIL-STD-810H) despite having a fancy vegan leather back. The battery is solid too, with a capacity of 4,310mAh (vs. 4,000mAh for the Galaxy S24) and fast 68W wired charging (vs. 25W), in addition to 15W wireless.
The only weak spot here is the Dimensity 7300 chipset. In Europe, the Neo costs €500 and the 7300 chip can be found on phones that cost half that. On the plus side, however, is that Motorola is committing to 5 OS updates.
Let us repeat that – 5 OS updates and 5 years of security patches. Okay, the phone launches with Android 14, which is nearly a year old at this point. However, v15 is not here yet. Anyway, it’s great to see long-term software support out of Motorola, especially on a non-flagship device.
Depending on the pricing, the Edge 50 Neo can be a smash hit for Motorola. It offers a unique combination of size, price and premium features like the LTPO display (not present on the Pixel 9, for example) and telephoto camera (not on Pixel 9 or iPhone 16).
You can follow the Source link to Flipkart’s landing page or you can check out our hands-on with the Neo. We are working on a full review as well, so stay tuned for our detailed test results.
Again, the Moto Edge 50 Neo launches next Monday (September 16) at noon and there will be a 1 hour flash sale.
