The Oppo A3 first became official in early July in China, and today it’s seemingly made the jump to India. That’s what would appear to have happened, but actually the Indian A3 is an entirely different device from the Chinese one.
The A3 for India comes with a 6.67-inch 720×1,604 LCD touchscreen with 120 Hz refresh rate, 240 Hz touch sampling rate, and 1,000-nit peak brightness. It’s powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage.
There’s a 50 MP main camera on the rear and a 5 MP one for selfies on the front, and a 5,100 mAh battery with support for 45W SuperVOOC fast wired charging. It even comes with a charger in the box! It measures 165.7 x 76 x 7.7 mm and weighs 187g. It has MIL-STD-810H certified military grade shock resistance.
You can get it in Ocean Blue and Nebula Red for INR 15,999 from Oppo’s online store.
