Disney has pulled back the curtain on the food, fun, entertainment & more coming to Fantasyland for “Bluey’s Best Day Ever” at Disneyland. Here are full details about all things Bluey & Bingo, including the stage shows, family-friendly games & activities, and special menus. Plus our commentary about the state of entertainment at Disneyland Resort as a whole, and why this needs to be a home run.
Per the announcement made back in December 2024, the producers of Bluey are working closely alongside BBC Studios and Disney on a number of special activations for fans to enjoy, with the producers from Ludo Studio collaborating on special experiences. These were originally supposed to begin last year (and did on Disney Cruise Line), but were delayed at Disneyland and Walt Disney World until 2026. And now, they’re finally about to debut…for real life!
Beginning March 22, 2026, “Bluey’s Best Day Ever!” at the Fantasyland Theatre in Disneyland will celebrate the heart and humor of the critically acclaimed animated series, which also just so happens to be the most-watched children’s show in the United States (for several years running). “Bluey’s Best Day Ever!” also arrives during the tail end of Disneyland’s 70th Anniversary Celebration, which honors seven decades of The Happiest Place on Earth.
With its big heart and boundless energy, “Bluey’s Best Day Ever!” encourages guests of all ages to laugh louder, dance harder, and play together. Because when everyone joins in, well… that really is the best day, according to Disneyland.
Check Disneyland.com and the Disneyland app for the latest “Bluey’s Best Day Ever!” entertainment schedule. Come by any time during venue operating hours. Guests are encouraged to explore and move about the theatre. Seating is not required.
The Fantasyland Theatre at Disneyland will be reimagined as the grounds of Bluey’s school, featuring a newly designed entryway with nods to the series.

Bluey and Bingo will appear on stage at set times throughout the day during two unique rotating shows, joining a troupe of comedic performers and musicians. Together, they will bring to life the popular games, beloved music, and dances with cheeky moves from the series for real life.
Extra laughs, playful surprises, and a little bit of delightful chaos are added when Bluey and Bingo are joined on stage by beloved characters from the show: Chattermax, Unicorse, and a troupe of Grannies. Get ready to be a Keepy Uppy expert when Bluey, Bingo, and the performers toss balloons into the audience.
You’ll also spot Bluey and Bingo in live musical show moments that seamlessly segue into iconic games. A surprise cavalcade with larger-than-life inflatables of Bluey’s friends–Jack, MacKenzie, Indy, Honey, and Rusty–will weave through the audience. There will also be new musical arrangements of iconic songs from Bluey, played live by a five-piece band on drums, guitar, trumpet, saxophone, and trombone.

At the upper and lower grounds of the theatre, you can find storytelling, games, and dance-alongs as part of a fun fair at Bluey’s school.
Step into the life-sized Gnome Village and Fairy Garden, where you can join interactive adventures and group play. Children can experience some of Bluey’s favorite games by racing Barky Boats down an imaginary waterway or hopping on Bluey’s helicopter stump for a pretend ride to wherever your friends need you.
Photo opportunities will include striking a pose with Bluey’s family car and fun fair map, along with joining the class photo with Bluey and her classmates.

Because no new event would be complete without merchandise, there’s also that.
A selection of Bluey apparel will be available for purchase, featuring kids’ tees, a kids’ zip fleece, and an adult tee. Pin fans can add Bluey and Bingo to their collections with a new pin and lanyard.
Bluey stuff will be sold at the following locations, while supplies last:
- World of Disney at the Downtown Disney District, beginning March 20
- Elias & Co. at Disney California Adventure park, beginning March 20
- Fantasyland Theatre Valet at Disneyland park, beginning March 22
More Bluey merchandise will arrive at Disneyland Resort at a later date, including the Bluey and Bingo Create Your Own Headband plushes. Those things are wildly popular, so be sure to be there early if you want those before they inevitably sell out!

Starting March 22, Disneyland park will be serving up delicious delights the whole family will love, inspired by the beloved Bluey series and great for fueling up after a game of Keepy Uppy.

Our Commentary
In that same article about middle class families, we mentioned the enthusiasm expressed by Creative Director Susana Tubert and other members of the Disney Live Entertainment team working to bring “Bluey’s Best Day Ever!” to life. They suggested that this would be bigger and better than other recent interactive productions at the Fantasyland Theatre.
Based on the above description, that seems accurate. This is definitely a bigger-budget production than the recent “Holiday Fun with Santa and Friends” or the past Pixar offerings. Those have been squarely aimed at young families, with craft making, sing-alongs of holiday classics, and atmospheric music.

While enjoyable for us as parents of a toddler (in fact, they’ve been downright fantastic as a low stakes change of pace), I wouldn’t say that any of the Fantasyland Theatre offerings since the short-lived Lion King show have had all ages appeal.
Accordingly, it’s interesting that Disneyland is positioning “Bluey’s Best Day Ever!” as an experience that guests of all ages will be able to enjoy. That hinges on the actual entertainment, live musicians, and stage show components, because the interactivity probably is not going to have wider appeal.
(Just to be abundantly clear, people can enjoy whatever they want. We couldn’t care less if Childless Disney Millennials choose to spend their entire day at “Bluey’s Best Day Ever!” We’re just saying the average guest without small children would not have found a tremendous amount of appeal in the previous offerings in Fantasyland Theatre that followed a similar bluey-print.)

“Bluey’s Best Day Ever!” needs to be great, offering something for everyone.
For one thing, Bluey’s arrival to Disneyland is long overdue. The popular show once again led all streaming programs last year with 45.2 billion minutes viewed per Nielsen, making it the most-watched show in the United States for the second consecutive year.
Disney first announced the Bluey partnership over a year ago, and originally teased the arrival of Bluey and Bingo at Walt Disney World and Disneyland last year. So if this arrives a year late and is lackluster, that will be massively disappointing.

Not only that, but there’s also the reality that nothing else of note is on the horizon.
Disney is still touting the Disneyland 70th Anniversary Celebration, which is great. We love Paint the Night, Wondrous Journeys, and everything else. At the same time, that’s all old news at this point. The California parks are dependent upon new and refreshed offerings to entice locals, and there’s not really any of that beyond Bluey. That’s a stark contrast compared to last summer, when Disneyland70 arguably over-delivered on expectations (at least in my opinion).
Fast-forward a year and the entertainment lineup is even lighter, and there isn’t a whole lot that’s new to get guests excited. The Hyperion Theater still sits empty, as does the Ancient Sanctum in Avengers Campus, and atmospheric offerings have been reduced. And don’t even get me started on the sorry state of Fantasmic.

Then there’s the very venue where “Bluey’s Best Day Ever!” is being hosted, Fantasyland Theatre, which used to be home to proper stage shows.
Personally, I like the idea of a flex space like this. Our family has spent way more time in Fantasyland Theatre in the last 2 years than we did previously. But I don’t want to see this at the expense of more elaborate live productions. It would be one thing to sacrifice this space if the Hyperion weren’t also sitting vacant, or more live programming were occurring elsewhere, but it isn’t.
So all of that is tough. And even as Disneyland shows signs of improvement elsewhere, entertainment is possibly the one big exception to that. I’ve heard a lot of other things that make me optimistic for the future of the parks, but if anything, I’m pessimistic about entertainment’s trajectory. That’s unfortunate, as that has historically been one of Disneyland’s strong suits and something that helped make the parks feel alive and energetic.

With all of that said, we’re incredibly optimistic about “Bluey’s Best Day Ever!” in a vacuum. This should easily be the best version of the Fantasyland Theatre interactive experience yet. Given that this is the debut of Bluey at Disneyland, the only big thing for Summer 2026, and the likelihood that this offering is getting that sweet, sweet Disney+ promotional budget, it bodes well for this to be an ambitious production.
We cannot wait. Our daughter has loved all of the Fantasyland Theatre offerings; when open, it’s one of our must-do attractions with every visit to Disneyland. Like every other toddler, she loves Bluey. She also loves characters, coloring, crafting, dancing, music, and pretty much everything else being served up at “Bluey’s Best Day Ever!” (except hot dogs).
This is a big win for young families, even if it does feel like it might be a loss for other guests. Hopefully not, and it actually does have all ages appeal. We’ll keep you posted once we’ve had a chance to experience “Bluey’s Best Day Ever!” Stay tuned for more.
