Walt Disney World has released the new ‘Buy 4, Get 2 Free’ discount on park tickets for May through September 2026. Here are dates & details, whether the deal is “worth it” and everything else you need to know before buying this discount admission.
If this deal sounds familiar, it’s because we already covered the resort or vacation package portion of that in ‘Buy 4, Get 2 Free’ Disney World Resort & Ticket Deal for Summer 2026. If you’ve already read that, this is mostly familiar territory.
However, we’ve received reader questions and comments suggesting that the ticket-only portion of the deal is getting lost in the shuffle. That makes sense, as normally package discounts like this require the purchase of full-priced park tickets, and don’t double as discounts on admission. Accordingly, we’re going to quickly cover the standalone ticket deal here…
For a limited time, purchase a 4-Day to 8-Day Walt Disney World Theme Park Ticket and receive 2 additional theme park days for free.
For example, purchase a 4-Day Disney Theme Park Ticket and receive 6 total days of Theme Park admission.
This ticket is valid for theme park admission from May 26 to September 15, 2026. Tickets must be purchased by February 15, 2026.
Ticket Use Dates & Important Details
- Ticket valid May 26 to September 15, 2026.
- This is a date-based ticket, and a start date must be chosen at the time it is purchased.
- These date-based tickets do not require advance Theme Park reservations. All tickets and options are non-transferable and non-refundable and exclude activities/ events separately priced or not open to the general public.
- Ticket must be purchased by February 15, 2026.
Walt Disney World weirdly claims that this ticket deal cannot be combined with other special offers. In actuality, you can stack Walt Disney World room-only discounts with ticket discounts. You just usually have to do them in separate transactions. This has always been the case, and there’s nothing to stop you from doing this since there are (necessarily) no package requirements with either a room-only or a ticket-only deal.

If you’re considering a vacation package or resort booking, it’s imperative to do the math on all of these special offers to see which works best for your family. We’d recommend requesting a FREE no obligation quote from Be Our Guest Vacations, an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner and having them figure it out and book for you. Among other things, they’ll help you with discount comparison shopping and making sure you get the best (for you) discount.
If you do not want a package or resort because you’re staying off-site, using DVC points, or for whatever other reason, we recommend buying park tickets via Get Away Today, a Disney-authorized ticket broker. They have this and other ticket deals at prices below Walt Disney World directly.
Perhaps even more notable is that their tickets are refundable or can be modified at a later date to take advantage of future sales. That’s particularly relevant in this case because we are expecting more ticket deals for Summer 2026 that will end up offering superior savings–at least for some guests.
You can also book the ticket deal directly via Walt Disney World’s official site here.

The ‘Buy 4, Get 2 Free’ Deal is basically a 33% off discount on a 6-night hotel stay. That’s the very simple, very straightforward math. It works out this way because there’s no standard multi-night discount on hotel stays. Prices vary based on dates and days of the week, but that’s always the case. The discount drops to 20-28% off on longer stays by virtue of adding paid nights without a corresponding increase in free ones.
By contrast, the ‘Buy 4, Get 2 Free’ Deal is not a 33% off discount on park tickets. It is much smaller, even on the high end.
That’s because of the tried and true mantra “the longer you stay and play, the less you pay per day.” Which is to say that the incremental (per day) cost on park tickets for days 5, 6, etc. is lower than the cost for days 2, 3, and 4.

To this point, here’s the starting per day cost on tickets without this deal:
- 6-Day Base Ticket: $94
- 7-Day Base Ticket: $83
- 8-Day Base Ticket: $78
- 9-Day Base Ticket: $71
- 10-Day Base Ticket: $66
Here’s the starting per day cost on tickets with this deal:
- 6-Day Base Ticket: $82
- 7-Day Base Ticket: $77
- 8-Day Base Ticket: $70
- 9-Day Base Ticket: $65
- 10-Day Base Ticket: $62

From this, you can see that you’re going to save roughly $10 to $18 on tickets on the low end (depending upon your desired duration). That should be the minimum savings range, if doing base tickets for the cheapest days of the year. The amount could be higher, especially if you’re doing a 6-day ‘fully loaded’ ticket or visiting during the most expensive days of summer.
On the cheapest 6-day tickets, that amounts to 3.4% off. So basically, moving over the decimal point from the room version of this deal, which offers up to 33% off (probably right around 34% once we factor the ticket savings into the package). Hence our previous comments that the savings on tickets were “negligible, but not nothing.”

This actually is not bad by ticket deal standards, which are often either targeted, have narrow parameters, or restrictions. Examples of these things include Florida resident deals, 3-Park tickets excluding Magic Kingdom, and more. As far as more flexible and open-ended offers go, this is better than the Adults at Kids’ prices deal we sometimes see.
This is the best ticket deal that’s currently available for Summer 2026, but probably not the best ticket deal that will be available when all is said and done. Of course, one of those things is a hard reality and the other is an uncertain prediction.

Also as previously discussed, Cool Kid(s’) Summer rolled out the following discounts last year:
- 50% Off on Kids Tickets: You can purchase a 3-day or longer kids (ages 3-9) standard ticket for 50% off. This deal is available for visits beginning May 27 through September 20th.
- 3-Day, 3-Park Ticket: Get a 3-day, 3-park ticket starting at $89 per day ($267 total, plus tax) for visits starting on April 6 through September 22nd. This ticket is for admission to EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom (one theme park per day, not valid for admission to Magic Kingdom).

For those who have asked, the release of the current ‘batch’ of Summer 2026 special offers does not preclude more in the future.

For reference, last year’s slew of special offers for resort and package discounts were released on January 2nd (versus January 6, 2026). The release was very similar to the 2026 offers in terms of degree of discounting and eligible travel dates, with the exception of the ‘Buy 4, Get 2 Free’ deal (2026) in place of Free Dining (2025 and prior).
The aforementioned 50% off Kids Ticket and 3-Day, 3-Park Ticket deals were then announced on March 26th last year. This is entirely consistent with historical precedent. Typically, there’s more advance notice on hotel discounts (especially ones aimed at tourists) than ticket deals.
As another data point, winter & spring resort deals are typically released in late September or early October (as has happened the last 3+ years). By contrast, the Florida resident ticket deal for the same timeframe is usually announced like 2 days in advance. Speaking of which, we are still waiting on that deal…and I assume it’s coming any day now. (That deal was announced on January 5th last year and valid for first use starting January 13th.)

While I’m pretty confident that the Florida resident ticket deal is still coming for early 2026 despite it already being late, there’s far less certainty about a repeat of those Cool Kids’ Summer ticket deals. It’s simply a matter of precedent. Walt Disney World has done Florida resident ticket deals this time of year for (literally) decades, never missing a year.
The 50% off kids ticket deal was new for last year. The 3-Park, 3-Day ticket has a few years of history behind it, but at the same time, Walt Disney World has mixed things up with that deal a bit. (Speaking of which, it’s currently available as a targeted Disney+ discount for January through May 2026.)
My expectation is that there will be more–and better–discounting for tickets in Summer 2026. Last year’s precedent is one data point, and what Disneyland has already announced for these same dates is another. But expectations and reality are sometimes two different things. Unfortunately, we won’t know for sure until after this ticket deal expires on February 16, 2026. That is probably by design on Disney’s part.

Hopefully all of this makes sense, answers questions you might’ve had, or just brings this deal to your attention in the first place! If you’re looking for more than just a ticket deal, check out our Disney Discounts Page, which cover all of the recently-released deals for Walt Disney World, Disneyland, and beyond. There are promos available for most dates between now and October 2026, plus bouncebacks and PIN codes that run through Christmas 2026. So that’s worth checking out if you’re debating when to travel or which deals to book.
This should be an interesting saga to follow, and it’s almost certain that we haven’t seen the end of Walt Disney World’s efforts to woo back former fans and pull “levers” to incentivize more demand and guest spending. If bookings remain soft for the rest of the year, it’ll be interesting to see what type of more unique promotions are released for the second half of 2026.
It sure feels like things are trending in the right direction for even more aggressive offers, which bodes well for deal-hunters. We will be closely monitoring what’s released and will notify subscribers of our free email newsletter when any Walt Disney World discounts are released or rumored. Stay tuned!
