Job Description
Epicure Robotics is revolutionizing the food industry by building automated food kiosks in
various formats, including robotic kitchens, food kiosks, and fresh beverage vending kiosks.
Our advanced kiosks utilize CNC technology to create fresh, healthy food and beverages on
demand. Customers can enjoy a seamless experience by customizing their orders through
intuitive touchscreen interfaces.
As an Embedded Systems Design Intern, you will support the development and testing of
electronic hardware for our cutting-edge robotic kiosks. You will work closely with our
experienced hardware engineering team, gaining hands-on experience in designing, building, and testing various electronic circuits and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Hardware Design & Development: Design, prototype, and validate hardware
- components and systems for our robotic solutions.
- Electrical and Electronics Circuit Design: Develop electrical and electronics
- architectures and circuits in alignment with product specifications along with
- designing PCB and Perfboard circuits
- Component Procurement: Identify and choose suitable sensors, actuators,
- processors, and other components to fulfill system requirements.
- Documentation: Keep comprehensive documentation of hardware designs,
- specifications, and testing outcomes for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software
- and mechanical engineers, to ensure seamless hardware integration.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest advancements in electronics
- and hardware design, introducing innovative ideas and enhancements to our
- platforms.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in electronic/electrical circuits and tools (KiCAD, Eagle, Altium)
- Solid understanding of analog and digital circuit design, PCB design, and layout
principles. - Proficiency in embedded systems development, including experience with integrating
microcontrollers with different components. - Experience with various sensors, actuators, and embedded systems used in robotics.
