Huawei is preparing for the September 2 launch of the nova 16s Pro, but as it turns out, the company will also introduce two more products – a new smartwatch and new earbuds.
The Huawei Watch D3 will become the third in the series, following the original Watch D from 2022 and the Watch D2 from 2024. The D watches have special wrist bands that are designed to accurately measure the wearer’s blood pressure – they work similarly to the inflatable cuffs you’ve seen on blood pressure monitors. Some watches use optical sensors instead, but this should be more accurate.
Judging by the teaser clip, the Huawei Watch D3 will be thinner than the D2 (which measured 13.3mm). That aside, the watch preserves the same overall form factor with a rectangular display, a digital crown and a button below that. The teaser post mentions a “larger screen”, but it doesn’t say larger than what – the D2 already had a pretty large 1.82” screen.

Next up, the Huawei FreeBuds Neo. The teaser clip never shows the actual buds, but we expect that these will be an in-ear design. For what it’s worth, the case design closely resembles that of the FreeBuds 6i with its wide pebble-like form.
Here’s the teaser video for the Huawei FreeBuds Neo:

As for the Huawei nova 16s Pro, that is the global version of the nova 16 Pro (no “s”) that launched in China back in June. There might be some hardware differences like on the Pura 90s Pro and Pura 90 Pro, for example.
