In last night’s FIFA World Cup 2026 final, Spain beat Argentina 1-0 to win the tournament. After the match, during the on-field celebrations, an unlikely device was spotted in the hands of one of the players – the upcoming Honor Robot Phone.
This is rumored to finally arrive in August, after having been shown by the brand in various prototyping stages since January.

According to a recent leak, the Honor Robot Phone has a 6.3″ to 6.4″ screen with a “1.5K” resolution, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC at the helm, a 200MP primary camera with f/1.6 aperture and that gimbal that’s the device’s main selling point, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a 200MP periscope telephoto camera. Keeping the lights on is a 6,000 mAh battery, reportedly, which is quite small for a Chinese smartphone these days, but that gimbal definitely takes up a lot of space.
We apparently shouldn’t be surprised if the Robot Phone can deliver camera prowess on par with the upcoming Magic9 flagship series. So, with that in mind, the price tag is probably going to be the definition of eye-watering.
