The Sony Xperia I VIII, which we’ve been hearing about for some time, will be unveiled on May 13. The launch will be live-streamed on YouTube starting at 2 AM UTC, and you can follow it with us by tuning in to the stream below.
Sony hasn’t detailed the specs sheet of the Xperia I VIII yet, but thanks to leaked renders, we know what the smartphone will look like. It will feature a notchless display on the front and sport a triple-camera setup on the rear, aligned in an upside-down L layout.
The triple rear camera setup is rumored to comprise a primary, an ultrawide, and a telephoto unit with focal lengths equivalent to 24mm, 16mm, and 70mm, respectively. The telephoto unit’s sensor is said to be in the 1/3″ to 1/2″ size range.
