Honor’s Magic V5 was one of the premier foldables of the past year, and we now have some preliminary specs for its successor – the Magic V6. Tipster Digital Chat Station revealed some key spec for the upcoming foldable, which is expected to launch in China by mid-2026.
Magic V6 will unsurprisingly feature Qualcomm’s top-tier Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset alongside some pretty sizeable battery gains. According to DCS, Honor is testing the Magic V6 with two battery configurations.
The first one is equipped with a 6,900mAh dual-cell battery and is likely the version that will ship to international markets. The second model packs an even larger 7,200mAh dual-cell battery and will likely be the one that launches in China. There’s no word on charging speeds but we do get confirmation that both versions of the Magic V6 support wireless charging.
The other big addition to Honor’s next-gen foldable is a 200MP main camera, which appeared in another rumor from earlier this year. It will be joined by a periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. The other tidbits on the Magic V6 include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, updated dust and water resistance and an ultra-thin design.
